🧷 -- Cordelia sighed, hugging her knees to her chest, sitting on Jack’s beat-down couch. After Emma left the household, their father turned his affections to Adrienne... and his scorn to Cordelia. She felt trapped between a rock and a hard place, and she didn’t know how to escape like Emma did. She had no plan, nowhere to stay, and she wasn’t sure how to survive without her father’s extensive resources. Even if Emma left a few years before, and Cordelia was now a (young) adult, she had no future before her. 

“I don’t know what to do... where to go...” she murmured. 

She was defiant and unwavering before Winston, but with Jack, she couldn’t hide how she truly felt.

It had been the perfect evening to get a better view of the stars and now that there was time to actually enjoy it, Zora was not passing this up. Smiling now that Jack willing to join them on their little adventure, they felt especially excited to get a break from everything.

“Yeah, I know a really good spot to get a good look.“ With that they quickly started to move through the forest towards a clearing that they had visited a few times when they just needed some time to think on their breaks.

Seraph could be pretty dramatic when they wanted to be, which their partners knew. So when they were mildly inconvenienced by Jack and Cassie spending too much time -- in their opinion -- playing video games, they tossed themself on the bed and whined that they were cold, lonely, and dying from the lack of attention. 

Jack and Cassie saved and paused their game, watching their fluid partner throw their tantrum. A quick glance to each other, and they lept off the couch, and pounced on Seraph on the bed. Jack landed on Seraph, followed by Cassie to complete the cuddle pile.
