@vifiant from here!
“ I’m sorry. ”
A genuine apology. Fingers fiddle with the zipper on her jacket, head bowed in shame. A frown places itself upon her lips and she heaves a sigh, shoulders sagging just a little further. She tried, honest; she feels as if something shocks her every moment she attempts to linger on the past, on the happier days of her classmates and the school she was built to attend.
“ ... I know. I just... there are so many other things that need to be taken care of. It’s... nothing of importance compared to this. ”

The sickening sensation of his touch is short-lived for Kamukura’s first instinct is to barely manage pressing his hands away with their own. While half-coherence may have stripped them of any chance at successfully warding him off, they’ve still retained the bite beneath their weary words that at the very least gives them some small possibility of making him keep his distance. It’s his reluctance to abide by the wishes of his superiors, of all things, that reminds them of a single fault in their pre-designed life that stems from the nature of their existence in itself: working towards a single goal until it’s completed one way or another leaves no room for anything other than success, and will only be abandoned on the off-chance that one is no longer able to see it through due to some impossible barrier— even if it’s at the cost of their own life. And though they and he share a single common trait, he strives for something more unattainable than anything they’d be instructed or taught to achieve and for that they can do nothing but look down on what they believe to be his single purpose.
A wave of nausea overtakes them momentarily and their head dips back down with a strained sigh before they speak again.
❝ . . . You’ll be killed. You’re going to die by my own hands, and yet you— you’re the one who chooses to do this. Do you have a convenient case of amnesia . . . ❞
Only momentarily do they allow him to linger as close as he does; significantly delayed realizations and reactions are only two of the side-effects of the sedatives they’d been given, though they quickly decide that those two are objectively the worst as it makes them at a loss of control and well-needed awareness. As soon as Kamukura does become aware of the close proximity in which he stands, they meekly manage to use the palms of their hands to press him further away from them.
❝ Do you not remember . . . what it felt like to stop breathing for so long your legs struggled to support your weight . . ? Do you not remember that you barely managed— barely managed to evade death through a promise . . ? Do you not . . . remember that I’m going to be the cause of the downfall of everything you’ve . . . worked towards and . . . of you . . . altogether. ❞

A visitor? For me? I’m flattered, Mako-kun. I’m positively rotting down here.
... ... ...
And the worst, most foulest, most disgusting, most smelliest, rotten to the core DEMON of them all appears right in front of me. You should be careful where you step, otherwise you never know just what kind of cute surprises await you. Isn’t that right ...
Makoto Naegi?
Carelessness is the cause for allowing him, of all people, to be the first and only one other than their provider to become aware of their potentially fatal dilemma. Letting them linger longer than they should couldn’t have been anything other than deliberate on Tsumiki’s end, they know, but addressing her obvious ploy is an issue for much later.
Kamukura struggles to straighten up, shifting to position their back against the wall rather than continue to rest feebly on their shoulder. Even with such a slight change in posture it’s difficult to steady themself, and they breathe out something close to a sigh before managing out yet another response.
❝ . . . I can’t. I can’t move. Leave me here for someone— for someone else to find. ❞
As insistent as they are, they’re confident that he'll deny them solitude no matter the amount of attempts that come in the form of poorly produced sentences; admitting defeat is far out of the question, however, and when it comes to him, they’d rather press pointless rejections forward than let him struggle to mend what cannot be fixed.
( im on mobile sry :'0 the q. about best time to write, and worst muse )
⚜ What is the best time to write for you? Why?
i don’t really have a best time tbh?? just whenever i’m able to actually focus because adhd is Hell. inspiration tends to hit me much later at night though :0
回 Which muse was the worst to play? Why?
ngl my last muse. roleplaying idate was kind of awful because the m/ogeko rp community at the time was petty closed off and unfriendly, but then all the drama went down and i left so it doesn’t really matter anymore lmao
