The reason he’s been assigned here is plain as day–to him, anyway–and it’s made no less infuriating by her jealousy and bizarre sense of entitlement.
Though he strives to do most everything with a flourish and perfection no other could even hope to reach, it’s true that his skills would be far better utilised elsewhere–that he would be far better elsewhere, away from foolish questions and a totally worthless job position.
Obviously, he’s a threat. There can be no other reason for keeping him in this position.

Seriously, it’s a wonder that Togami got to have any part in PR. From the news Enoshima delivered before their escape from the school, his influence is all but dust at the moment.
Maybe it’s envy; she wants to be in the same division as her friends (Hagakure... does he even have one? Fukawa isn’t even a member of the Foundation, which is understandable to an extent), those that she went through hell and back with. Asahina recoils the slightest bit at the harsh words from the other, though not from the surprise of their meaning but because it drew her from her own thoughts.
“ No one is permitting me to do anything. I’m here because that’s what I can do instead of just sitting and doing paperwork all day. ”
God does this guy get her blood boiling. Fingers curl into a fist and, before she can stop herself, her fingers latch around his collar and hold tight.
