~~~St Lucia Beaches~~~ Vigie Beach has got to be St Lucia's single most beautiful beach that is likely to remain untouched by development for a very long time due to a set of happy coincidences. You see the beach is flanked by St Lucia's "Baby" airport along its entire length and the island's premier cemetery on it's northern end, making it difficult for for any major development to occur. I consider this a wonderful thing every time I walk the 3 miles that's a full circuit of the beach, or every Sunday when I see my friends playing cricket on the beach or Joe Average St Lucian enjoying this open vista on a holiday ... and these days I notice that cruise ship passengers have discovered it too.⠀ ⠀ What do you think about this beach remaining a true national treasure free from any overbearing commercialization like another high rise hotel?
