Thank you so much for this prompt, this is a thought that's been swimming in my head for months and will definitely become a longer fic eventually <3 for now, though:
She knew that Violet wasn’t religious in any sense— knew it the day they met. Arkady’s never been religious either. She was raised around several religions; she took pieces of all of them to heart, but never believed in anything. Anything except Her. Her lips on Sana’s skin is the closest she will get to worship. She’s heard of people getting married and converting— joining their spouses’ religious practices; worshipping alongside them. Her and Violet are far from marriage, but they’ve taken this step already. Here— both of them in the Captain’s quarters, in her bed— they can worship together.
