Stegeborgs slott, castle ruins.
The castle is located on a small island in a narrow bay. First traces of a fortification are from the viking age, and the main body was built in the 1300s, and added to in the 1500s. A new castle was built in 1699, and a few decades later, Stegeborg Castle was demolished.
This was a very nice stop on my hike south over the flatlands from Bråviken bay. Next weekend I'll pack the hammock and continue through south through the hills towards Ringarum.
