Viking au notes
*everyone has been touched by a god. They are going north, towards the yggdrasil tree, towards ragnarok.
*kyle has been touched by boldr, god of light, joy, and the summer sun. he has a hard time staying warm, which only worsens the longer they are on their journey.
*in norse mythology, every creature and being on earth promised not to harm boldr, save the mistletoe. Loki tricked boldr’s brother, holdr, who was blind, into throwing a spear crafted from mistletoe at holdr, which resulted in holdr’s death.
*stan doesn’t eat meat. This sometimes results in fights between kyle, an avid hunter, and stan.
*Kenny is a Ljósálfr; a light elf. His body generates a natural heat and he enjoys wandering the mountains, saving the poor men and women who get lost in the snowstorms and would otherwise freeze. He has ears and healing magic, although the magic takes a great deal of energy from him.
*eventually they get to a town and kyle gets a very strong feeling about Christophe (who also has the added bonus of being really adorable holy hell) and hires him to be a guide through the mountains, even though Kenny already knows the way.
*tweek and Gregory are traveling together coming from a different direction, but they meet up with the main group at some point
*Gregory and Christophe have been working together for a very long time, but Christophe has never met tweek up until that point
