Vil does NOT say the name of the Scottish play. Rook doesn’t either, but had to learn it from Vil. Epel said the name once and all of Pomfiore screamed at him to leave the dorm and spin around three times. He was so confused/scared

The Schoenheit Family
Vil throughout his vignettes has a pattern of mentioning his father often. It is very obvious that he loves his dad and respects him very much as he shaped him to be the person he is now. This naturally contrasts a lot with the way Vil talks about his mother. While his dad is mentioned regularly there was absolutely no mention of his mother up to his broomquet vignette which has yet to appear in EN. Not only did Vil never mention her before that vignette but he is also very brief, stating that he doesn’t know her nor does he care to.
Before this vignette was released I assumed that maybe his mother had died when he was young and he only knew her through his dad and very little from memory which was why he didn’t mention her at all but I found the way he spoke about her not fitting for that explanation. Of course, this is just speculation from me but I figured that if his father had a close relationship with his mother, he probably would have wanted his son to remember her fondly like he did which in my opinion doesn’t make sense with what Vil said. The way that I read Vil’s vignette to me showed disinterest towards his mother which I wouldn’t be surprised comes from history with her he doesn’t wish to disclose.
My headcanon for her is that she dated his father for a while and the relationship was kept as lowkey as they could which is realistically not possible when you consider how seemingly famous Eric is. She then got pregnant with Vil and decided to keep him right until he was born. She finds herself fearing that her child will outshine her eventually and refuses to compromise her career. So she leaves Eric and Vil behind. She would be based on Baroness Von Hellman, Cruella De Vil’s mother. So you guessed it she was never a good person, though I don’t imagine her as antagonist as Cruella’s mother. Now with Vil and Eric’s level of fame, I don’t think that her identity would be a secret. While I can imagine it could potentially stay unconfirmed. I am pretty sure that speculations would surround Vil’s mother’s identity throughout his life.
I imagine that his mother is a fashion designer just like Baroness Von Hellman. Therefore Vil is bound to encounter her. So I think his father would reveal her identity to Vil. Also because of Vil’s success in the fashion industry, he worked with her multiple times. However, they both don’t acknowledge their biological ties to each other. So to Vil he does not in fact know his mother nor does he care to and neither does she.
I don’t think Vil hates his mother. Of course I think he would have a certain awareness that it is someone who hurt his father and of course that would matter to him but I think both of them would rather not give any weight to her existence instead. I do really think he is detached about it and I think the way he answers would be a good way of saying this person is not relevant to my life which is why I don’t talk about her and that’s it.
Can I request some headcannons with pomefiore from twisted wonderland with a s/o like ayaka from genshin impact?

VIL 𖤐
well, color him impressed, you take care in your appearance, and have intelligence behind that!

ROOK 𖤐
ah! such beautiful poetry! and you know it from memory? ouahh!! such skill!
he thinks the prowess with which you wield your blade is full of beauty in and of itself, but the graceful words that fall from your mouth like flower petals in the breeze? simply divine
you truly are someone worth admiration.
EPEL 𖤐
you know how to use a sword?! really? that's so cool!!
epel is very impressed with your sword skills, and the steady grace you carry yourself with. he admires the way in which you speak with such crystalline dignity, and the poetry you garnish your speech with, although he could never admit such a thing.
although your upbringings were very different he respects your dedication to everything you do.

Jack and Vil loved to play winter sports together. Vil obviously didn't have as much experience as Jack, but they especially loved ice skating together
I dont think people really talk about how smart Vil is. Like, ik its not the most prominent trait of his, but the way to become the Pomefiore is to make the most potent poison. Alchemy/potion crafting is the equivalent of chemistry, maybe a bit harder. Vil is the best chemist in the dorm, PLUS thats not even his career?? When did he have the time to study?? hello??
Does Vil think its important to take consistent good care of yourself? yes. Does Vil think its important to look your best? yes. Does Vil look down on others for their bodies? NO!!
Beauty is important to him, but beautiful dosent mean thin/able bodied/white/eurocentric/ect. Making sure you keep a good skincare routine and wear sunscreen in the sun is more important to him than people fitting a certain idea of beautiful
Vil is really good at fighting. Like, not just with magic. If he wants to he can throw a punch. I think he'd avoid it because it could mess up his hands and he could break nails. Not that he wont if he needs to, but manicures are expensive
rook has favorite hiding places when.. observing.. students. the only person who knows where they are is vil from all the times he had to get rook but he wasnt anywhere to be found
