You can't tell me that in another life before the 7 world, Vildred didn't try to give Ras his blade insignia, which is symbolically, in game, offering Ras his HEART.

Vildred offered Ras that insignia, as a good luck charm, to protect him in their final battle, he offered him his own heart for safety, it was 100% an attempt at confessing his feelings, and guess what Ras probably did.... he probably said "Huh?! But this is yours, I can't possibly accept this! Besides, it's way too heavy, wouldn't it be luckier if I didn't carry it in battle? You're so much stronger than me after all ;w;"

AND VILDRED PROBABLY CHOKED UP AND FORCED HIMSELF TO LAUGH IT OFF LIKE HAHAHAH IT WAS JUST A JOKE DONT WORRY PRETTY FUNNY RIGHT?!

And Ras was probably like- oh it was a joke? I must not understand human humor, (I thought it was rather sweet :'T), but okay;;;

So I did that meme again but with Vildras because twitter chose Vildras. 

Sezlona came close. Genuinely surprised KayRas got 2-3 more votes than CiddDingo. LIKE I REGULARLY HEAR AND SEE VILDRAS. I SEE KAYVILD AND CIDD DINGO ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT. And then there’s KayRas. On a good day I’ll find something.

Didn't wanna get up today so I Considered Vildred in a previous war finding an excuse to show off with his shirt off in front of ras, much to Ras' intrigue 👀.. only for some much beefier rival to steal his attention. This leads Vildred to challenge him in some kind of duel cuz he's an insecure gay disaster dummy lmao.

Ras is against the duel and confused as to why it's even happening but since he's not human, he assumes it must matter for some reason and just watches on. When Vildred is nearly defeated and fatally wounded tho, Ras immediately puts a stop to it. He fends off the rival and stands in front of Vildred protectively proclaiming "I need My General. If you continue with this treason, I will end it myself."

As soon as it's over, he offers to help Vildred up only to be brushed off, much to his confusion. When he approaches a robed Vildred about it later, Vildred mumbles "Do you like him better than me?" To which Ras can't help laughing because there's no way he could like some Bara jerk more than Vildred. Vildred hugs him, but his robe was open so Ras blushes all smooshed up against his pecs thinking "(hmm note to self, if I tell vildred I like him best, I get to hug him cheek to chest 😳...)"

Headcanon:

Vildred is near-sighted and wore glasses when he was in school to help with his studies. He stopped wearing them after graduation for safety in battle. This further symbolizes his inability to see the the deceptions and treachery around him until it’s often too late.

Meanwhile, Ras is farsighted which makes reading a bit of a struggle until Vildred informs him that reading glassses are an option. This further symbolizes his habit of getting lost in the bigger picture when it comes to the value of life and the ends over means in war, and especially how much he relied on Vildred’s guidance. It’s also dangerous yet wonderfully ironic that sometimes Orbis disappears altogether for Ras when all he cares to see is Vildred. Because Vildred was the one thing he really saw up close in that war; the one thing that mattered to him even more than his own duty as the Demi god protector of Orbis.

(…This is a very elaborate headcanon to justify the high school fic i wanna write where Vildred wears glasses lmao)
