“The Antichrist, in Greendale?” Honestly, her sister would believe anything. “Don’t be silly, those are just rumors. I’ve heard it all before, time and time again like clockwork - from mortals and witches alike, mind you. Just because a witch told you doesn’t mean it’s true.” Zelda took an elegantly long drag of her cigarette and let the idea float away with the smoke she exhaled. Satan knew Greendale (and the world at large) could stand a bit of reform, but she knew better than to put stock in the whisperings of witches. The next morning, Zelda sat on the porch, observing Hilda ash she worked in the garden. A figure appeared in the distance, though she didn’t pay any mind until the stranger approached the edge of their property. She rose from her chair; truth be told, she had rather hoped not to have to deal with any business today, but  d e a t h  was not an altogether avoidable occurrence. “Welcome to Spellman Mortuary. “Look Zeke, all I’m saying is you got options. Okay?” They’ve met children spawned by demons. They’ve met kids who can shift the fabric of space and time with their minds. The real antichrist? Not yet. Jack is doing well despite the world and if he can do that then maybe Ezekiel can too. Anything to get himself out of killing a kid. “You don’t have to go be the big bad I gotta hunt down and deal with- you could just come back inside and help me finish off that pizza. What’s it gonna be?”

        Vivienne was ready to crash and burn. All she wanted to do was get back to her sleazy motel room and collapse on the moth-eaten sheets of her bed. She wasn’t one to complain about living conditions. Any place to rest her head did its job. She’d come into town on the trail of a clan of vampires. She struck the nest during the day, leaving the vampires with nowhere to run. A few hours of fun left her exhausted.  Walking with a determined pace, she planned on getting back to the motel in record time. But being a slayer put a large target on her back. She didn’t win any favors with the forces of evil, since she actively tried to defeat them, or at the very least give them a really bad day. In this line of work, you could never be too careful or paranoid. Which is why when she noticed her motel room door had been jimmied open, she was instantly on alert. It was noticeably broken, which most likely meant someone wanted her to see it. Vivienne doubted that whatever waited for her behind the door was pleasant. Damn, all she wanted was a nap.
