Our choice of hotel was the Villa Maly which is a lovely boutique hotel about a 7 minute walk to the main centre http://villa-maly.com. Our arrival was lovely with a welcome tray consisting of 2 fruit drinks, some dried banana, peanuts and what turned out to be dried Mekong River weed. The weed was yummy coated in garlic and sesame seeds. We were then taken to our room which had been upgraded and overlooked the pool and lovely gardens.
Laos is a peaceful country which not only famous for majestic temples and stunning natural scenery but also for its attractive cuisine waiting for visitors to discover. Visiting Laos, you should savor these delicious dishes.
Sindad is one of Laos’ delicacies. It combines hot pot and barbeque with fresh and delicious ingredients. Villa Maly serves up the best Sindad in Luang Prabang by poolside under palm trees.
