He was a foster kid, he lost his mother at the age of seven and didn’t really know ho his father was. 

His childhood was pretty shitty, he was bullied, verbally abused at his foster homes, by the time he was 13 and he got into his 6th foster home, he just decided to run away for them. 

He spends around 3 years on the streets, working around, escaping from the police and stealing from time to time. He wasn’t really a bad kid, but he did everything to survive and not get hurt in between. 

By the age of 16, he was finally caught by the law and was locked away for a few months That’s where he met a social worker named Rosa and took him in, 

She and her husband already had two adults with their own lives away from home. They educated him, clean him up, became his parents. 

High school was tough, he was still laughed at, he develops two mechanisms, to learn how to fought and be funnier than his bullies so when other kids jeff him, his jokes about them were funnier. 

He turned out to be a good student and with the help of not only of Rosa and Carl but from his adopted siblings he moved to New York to go to School of Visual Arts. 

Luck seemed to stop for him after he graduated, he didn’t seem to find a good job on his field, but he didn’t want to move back home with his parents cause he was doing enough. So he took the job of a bartender to keep a nice roof on his head and enough to send some back home.

hello friends my name is c + welcome to my ted talk. today we’ll be talking about the resident Scruff himself , avery thane + how this tall , dumb southern boy made his way to the village. there aren’t many triggers in this one other than big dumb man alert ! 

avery is the oldest of three born in savannah , ga. v much the Golden Child - perfect grades , football player , musical talent. he hated being this Perfect star in his parents eyes because they always came down on him the hardest for making small mistakes

that said One Time in high school ave went to a party + got busted and his parents took everything away for a whole month

which isn’t That bad, but that’s when ave started to realize that he was ready to fly on his own

originally, he was meant to go to college ; he was writing applications out for harvard, yale, all the Biggest and Best colleges that he could and he did ; sent them in and he got accepted into harvard

except, against his parents wishes, he decided to go to georgia southern university instead

he didn’t know what he wanted to do and getting a law degree he knew he didn’t want wasn’t what ave wanted to do with his life

his true love was music but his parents didnt find that ‘practical’ for him

they’re v v v loving but also have hugely high expectations

anyway ! college only lasts about a year for him and he’s out of the house + on his way out of state 

he doesn’t have a lot of money, but he finds work giggling in small bars + singing in different areas to make some cash

mostly lived in his car until this started to actually work for him

he got a little footing as a musician ; nothing ridiculously famous, but enough to survive comfortably.

however, he was pretty content with his car and his guitar traveling around the us.

eventually, and there really isn’t a reason why, ave decides its time to settle.

he had been traveling a lot, and he was just over thirty and ready to stop living in his car

so with the wages he’s earned and saved from music, he finds the village and settles down and slowly starts to invest in a small business

located just two blocks from the village rests the piano bar ; a lowkey hole-in-the-wall gem of a bar that hosts live music + is a lot nicer than you’d expect it to be

it’s definitely his pride + joy and proof that he made something of himself

he still makes music but he focuses on tpb because he loves it

personality wise , he is pretty easy to get along with but he can be a bit flaky + a bit brash at times.

definitely speaks his mind and isn’t afraid to hurt peoples feelings - but will always apologize or make it up to someone if he want too far.

acts like a dumb Dad even though he’s not even a dad

sometimes he feels like he’s never gonna settle down bc hes already ‘almost forty’ and isn’t married or dating

he’s v proudly bisexual by the way

hey guys ! i’m iz ( she / her ) and i’m really excited to be here ! i’m super tired / pretty sure i’m coming down with something right now , so this might not be the best intro ever , but i wanted to get something posted asap ! give this a like to plot and i’ll slide into the ims :-)

+ sam claflin , cismale , he/him. ❝ it’s always nice to see sebastian harper around the village. the twenty nine year old is currently a radio host & has lived here for eight years. residents say the cancer can be pretty mercurial + garrulous but also gregarious + jocular. you can find them in apt. 403 , or just listen for i wanna be yours by arctic monkeys coming from one of the apartments. ❞ 

so i still need to discuss seb’s background with his sister’s muse so his backstory is still a little blurry, but from what i gather he was pretty much overlooked as a kid, his mother being more concentrated on his sister than him and his brothers. seb didn’t take that as badly as his brothers did, but of course it did have SOME effect on his self-esteem & his relationship with his sister. he’s always been a little cautious of growing too close to people since.

seb’s always been very outgoing though and always managed to create his own entertainment and attention. in school he was a class-clown and pretty popular; he got along with pretty much everyone and hovered from group to group.

as he grew older he matured a little, but still holds a bit of a peter-pan approach to life. he’s a playful person & enjoys making people laugh, and may be a little immature at times. his downfall is definitely his unreliability; he’s quite flighty & impulsive - which i’m sure annoys a loT of people 

he works as a radio host of an alternative-style channel & is doing pretty comfortably ! 

he’s bisexual and tends to lean towards men, though he has had relationships with women in the past. 

although he is very sociable, a lot of it is superficial - he does’t let many people dig past the surface and REALLY get to know him

hello, friends. i’m finally here and gracing your dashes with this mess of a human sonnet. like this post and i’ll send you a message or send me a message, whatever works for you!! i’m a, she/her and i live in the est timezone.

sunny comes from a lower middle class upbringing. they weren’t dirt poor, they had things but they weren’t rolling in cash either. it was a very modest way to grow up and it just fueled sunny’s drive to be able to provide for herself and her family.

her parents got divorced when she was in high school, and to be honest it was a long time coming. at some point they only started to stay together because they couldn’t really afford to live on their own incomes. they even decided to keep living together for the first year AFTER the divorce until sunny’s father met someone new and then her mother shortly after. their divorce didn’t hinder how sunny looked at love. she never knew her parents to really be in love to be honest. she just vowed that she would never stay with someone she was so unhappy with. 

sunny has always loved the art of crafting and make things. she paints and draws for fun ( she’s actually super fucking good at it ) and she went to school for film and got a job fresh out of college to be an editor. with the boom of youtube, she’s now more of a freenlancer than with a company, and mostly edits for youtubers while also picking some some jobs on the side whenever she can. 

as of now, ( until my wc is filled ) sunny and her now ex wife met the first year sunny was in college in a basic level course. they were in love and it happened fast. at first everyone thought they wouldn’t be together. but then three weeks turned into four years and then they got married and everyone knew that if someone was going to make it it would be sunny and her wife. but things got too hard for whatever reason, and coming home started to feel more like a chore than a blessing and sunny knew. she knew that it wasn’t going to last. it lasted for about a year and some odd months before sunny filed for divorced. she’s only been officially divorced for a month, but she moved in three months ago with her pal avery ( rip avery he has to deal with a mess )

fun facts

she loved the color orange. it makes her feel happy! she has so many orange things that it’s honestly a problem, and she has so many orange ( the fruit ) things because of this.

she’s 95% vegan. if she could give up cheese and eggs she would be but she can’t. she makes eggs at least 5 times a week because they’re just SO easy.

she currently has a blog right now that she takes pictures and writes for and posts once a week. it’s just a cute life style blog, and right now she’s focusing on self care and loving yourself.

living as zero waste as she can!! she’s trying!!!! she wants to save the planet ok :((

b a c k s t o r y - ( the story behind the girl )

evie, oh wow where to start? she’s super sweet & sincere. like the opposite of you know my other mess muse ( cough adam ) 

she’s from a super small town, like v small, and so she definitely was raised on small town charm. she was raised by a couple of loving, but simple, & had no big dreams of living their small humble hometown. 

their daughter ( evie ) however, had always had big dreams of living in the city and being a famous singer. 

so as soon as she graduated high school, she packed her suitcases, spent about all her savings on a studio apartment in a kind of sketchy neighborhood and began the dream. 

well, reality hit her really fast when she couldn’t book that many gigs, book an agent, and suddenly couldn’t afford her next month’s rent.

so instead she got a job as teacher at a preschool near the village as worked her way up to a head teacher position at their middle school. 

now making a steady paycheck she moved to the village and put her dreams of being a singer behind her.

now she does the occasional open mic, but her ego is bruised and she is pretty sure she doesn’t have the talent to make it big as a singer.

to sum it up, she is basically a sweet softie with a great voice & lowkey insecurity issues.

genevieve was named after her grandma and she’s v happy bout it. but she mostly goes by gen cuz she feels it’s easier for most ppl. only her fam calls her evie

gen loves children. she’s always loved taking care of ‘em and when she was thirteen she started babysitting around her neighborhood.

what started as a hobby became her life long passion and she decided she wanted to be a preschool teacher.

everything was going dandy. she met, and had been dating, who she thought was the love of her life for three years and graduated from her class w honours

right out of college gen found out she was pregnant and that’s when things started to go downhill

buckle up its time to get on the feels train y’all

her bf proposed and she accepted. she was hella hyped and sent wedding invites to her fam and friends. she didn’t tell ‘em she was pregnant tho.

her happiness was short-lived. she ended up miscarrying b4 the sixth week was over. gen was devastated and she felt guilty. she’d been diagnosed with an abnormal uterus shape, which highly increased the risk of a future miscarriage.

her bf wanted to keep trying but the trauma haunted her. she couldnt risk it happening again so she decided to have her fallopian tubes tied :(((

in the end he broke off their engagement and all gen told her fam n friends was that there were irreconcilable differences.

after this she could no longer look at children without crying. it took her years to gain control over her tear glands and in the meantime, she decided to change her career.

she got a certificate in paralegal studies and that’s what she’s currently works as.

personality wise

gen has always been a v sweet and caring person. she’s a mother hen and will go down protecting the ppl she loves

she’s still like that but now she’s also more distant from others?? she’s still friendly but draws an invisible line so ppl dnt see her wounds

after her breakup she sleeps around seeking momentary pleasure. she’s all bout doing wtvr she wants but she makes damn sure to keep her private and public life separate. 

as a form of self-preservation she tries to be more rational than emotional. well she tries. but mostly fails lmao

shes mostly stuck in the past so she dsnt harbour much hope for the future <//3

He hasn’t had a serious relationship since college. His girlfriend through college broke his heart and with his job, he finds dating hard.

He recently started exploring his sexuality and has found that he likes men as much if not more than women.

Dakota is hardworking and does a lot for his career, but that translates to his friendships with other people. He’ll drop what he’s doing if someone needs help and do his best to help them out.

* hey all! it’s zel again with my second character! sorry for the inactivity. stuff went haywire with a lot of things so i spent the last two days sleeping to forget. but im better now and im gonna get on the dash with replies and starters right after a good night’s sleep, but here’s luna!

luna was born the only child in busan, korea. she spent five year in korea before her family transferred to america after her father had an opportunity to teach in an ivy league school.

her mother stays at home as a housewife and every after school, luna would always help her mother around with household chores. luna was responsible ever since she was a kid and she loved her parents dearly. 

she had always loved competitions so she was enrolled in a martial arts class and it was always amazing how the adrenaline was able to help her focus in a lot of stuff.

everytime after class, she would go do her personal training and every weekend was her training with her coach. but despite this dedication to the craft, her parents, as asians, insisted she take something medical in terms of her college degree.

she had badly went against this and to let ends meet, she decided to take accountancy as her degree, just to spite her parents’ decision and also no to disappoint them in a way.

luna still joined a couple of tournaments that dealt with martial arts but she never came on top because she lacked professional training. it was all those loses that made her promise herself to keep training until she gets a first place in one of the tournaments.

one year after getting a job, she tried to join a local competition and she was ecstatic to come home from a victory. it was then someone asked her to help them be as good as her.

this pushed her to start teaching her “protege” in terms of techniques. she knew she wasn’t the best but the fact someone believed in her made her heart feel warm.

she enjoyed the task and continued to apply to be a martial arts trainer and this ability let her be strong and capable in a lot of things.
