😩 Hardest thing about writing the muse?
There’s actually nothing there. Ezekiel has become such a big part of me and my own personality that it doesn’t feel strange or wrong to write him, so I can’t implicitly think of anything that makes writing with and about him difficult. I am a great friend of Roman philosophy, which also influenced Ezekiel heavily, and I just had to read myself in to build up his philosophy well. But there are days when both of us have no desire to inspire each other, so I let writing be.
Thanks to the gods, I am not under pressure to do anything here every day and that is good for my writing. Besides, the mixture of crack and seriousness is very helpful. If you can write about the butt of your muse as well as about the abysses of it’s life, then you don’t have any problems anymore.
I add another symbol for @vimlos, if you don’t mind! <3
📝 Favorite headcanon for your muse?
My favorite headcanon is definitely the friendship and blood brotherhood with Khagmar. As much as I love the story with Emiel, these two absolute morons are my highlight. I regard that as a whole headcanon itself, because even if it contains many many stories, the fact that he was this mess’ best friend is so absurd makes it sooo good <3
And of all the stories that haunt my head, the one with the apples is my favorite. The first time they really explored the human world, they came to White Orchard to see the white-flowering apple trees. Khagmar, almost as big as one of the trees itself, discovered these red balls that somehow smelled good and bite straight in. That was the best he had eaten so far.
The taste “sweet” was something completely new for vampires, because nothing in their world tasted like it. And like Khagmar was - more is more - he munched half of the apples of the trees alone. Ezekiel, still very shy by his slavery, from which he had just been released, only watched him at first. At some point, when Khagmar was nearly full, he tore through an apple in the middle and gave it to Ezekiel to try. Ezekiel hadn’t tried much food yet, but the red ball thing was something very special. They spent the whole day and night under the trees.
