Sometimes you just get tired of wearing glasses and want your eyes to rest for a while? Aight, put em on your head. BUT WAIT! Your hair!!!! BAM! Headband protects your glasses from getting smeared, and beats the heck out of you searching everywhere for a cloth to find and wipe them off (and if its a nice and cottony material, it keeps from scratching your glasses!). 

It can also keep the sweat and hair out of your eyes as well, and be a fashionable item as well! He probably does a lot of movement, so he would probably need something to keep his hair out of his eyes, but to also hold his glasses as well!

I actually have an OT3 story half plotted with the 3 of them, a soulmate au where Koby is a stubborn little shit and Law is just reluctantly like sure whatever. Luffy is Luffy with stars in his eyes, “I found my soulmates!!!”

To be fair, Ace kept running around as a kid asking people what they’d think about Roger having a child. Most would brush it aside, but if one person didn’t.....

i’m sure someone thought back and prolly went “why the heck would a kid be asking about his son????” but the lightbulb probably never clicks on anytime soon

Umm… NO. This possibility hasn’t even crossed my mind. Like, I know most kids would question why their parents aren’t around, coupled with the bandits/Garp telling Ace about his dad and Ace going around trying to find someone who would tell him the opposite/accept him… like NO. He may have ended up asking an undercover Marine or even a bounty hunter…

But if Ace went to ask a bounty hunter or a marine that was undercover, wouldn’t they be oddly suspicious of the questioning??? They’d most likely keep tabs (or worse, take him in for more questions) on him afterwards, compared to asking drunk bartenders who wouldn’t think much on it, much less remember the questions the next day
