╰┈➤ caregiver ! Vincent Sinclair headcanons ৴ slight self indulgent / comfort post

Warnings: house of wax spoilers. (Mentioning Vincent's wax hobby, etc), mentioning Bo's injury scars, mentions of stitches/injury

🕯️┊the difference between the Sinclair twins is Vincent is the one to most likely understand what's happening 99% of the time. Vincent carries patience wherever he goes. Gentle, patient, yet quiet. As he grew up around his artwork, his quiet yet gentle demeanor comes naturally.

🕯️┊despite being twins, Vincent took care of Bo when they grew up. Having little to no friends in school, they only had each other. Taking an older brother-like role to Bo, he did what he could to soothe his brother's trauma. He played with him, sat with him, played ball with him, took care of Bo's injuries when Bo got hurt or his wrist was too sore to touch.

🕯️┊ as a caregiver, Vincent isn't the one to raise his voice. In fact, he never seems to talk at all. However when his little needs a voice of comfort, Vincent speaks. Some say, Vincent only talks around his kiddo.

🕯️┊Vincent is around fire 24/7. making sculptures from wax requires alot of stuff. Vincent's patience, time and care. One wrong slip up, and the whole wax museum would go up in flames. That being said, Vincent refuses to have his little hang in the basement when he's working. Or really, at all. The basement isn't the safest for kiddos to run around in, and the last thing Vincent would want is his little to be harmed. Plus, a little one's clumsiness can come with a price. Vincent is responsible around fire and wax. He can't risk his kiddo being burned.

🕯️┊he's a 'classic caregiver' he is what.. you imagine a caregiver would be like in the 80s or 90s. He doesn't acknowledge technology, as he believes it isn't needed. The most technology he needs in his life is his camera. But even then, it's for wax work, not entertainment. So what does he do to keep his little entertained? Story books, old toys, letting his little play around Ambrose with supervision, the park and more. He believes technology isn't a necessity for his little. Though if you ask, he might bend those rules.

🕯️┊the type of caregiver to have you sleep on his chest while he rocks you in an old rocking chair. He can and will rock you for hours. Until you fall asleep or if you get tired of the rocking.

🕯️┊doesn't punish his little when they do something bad. In fact, if it involves accidentally knocking over a wax figure or breaking something important, Vincent handles it. If Bo gets upset about it, Vincent takes the blame. He ends up fixing them of course, and soothe you if you're upset about it. Reassuring it was an accident and you weren't at fault for it.

🕯️┊if he were to call you anything, nicknames, pet names, etc, I feel like he would call you [kiddo/little one/bud/kid]. Very generic, but if his little likes them, who's he to deny them?

🕯️┊born to be a doctor & artist, forced to be a wax sculptor. Vincent is amazing with injuries. He can heal just about anything. Scrapes, bruises, and cuts. He's even a better stitcher. So if it ever comes to that type of injury, Vincent has you covered no problem.
