alright i'll talk about evangelion and gender headcanons

these are all my thoughts on canon but isnt meant to invalidate anybody elses headcanons or thoughts i can agree to disagree

i read shinji as a cis boy but its quite complicated. there is a good meta on trans shinji (x) and i have more thoughts but i would rather keep it to be myself unless one day i have the ability to form these thoughts into eloquently worded piece

asuka is also a cis girl but ive seen art of transfem shinji with butch asuka. butch asuka seems like such a lovely idea to explore.

ive come to strongly dislike nonbinary rei headcanons because she seems so deeply intertwined with femininity and motherhood and i swear i have a good meta for this but i cannot for the life of me find it. i like her too much to headcanon her as cis so like she can be transfem as a treat. yes i know im being biased but who the hell cares. i have further thoughts on this as well but shes a very personal character to me so that might reveal things about myself i dont want to reveal

misato is a cis woman when she wants to be and a trans woman when she wants to be. she can do whatever she wants.

ritsuko is so trans woman i mean it shes so epic trans. proof is shes a woman in stem and shes in an epic t4t relationship with maya. hashtag ritsumaya. i think this goes without saying but maya is also trans.

kaji is trans. does this require any further explanation. hes my blorboest blorbo of course hes transgender. he has the same very specific gender as reigen. does this even make sense

i'm going to take a break from requests for a bit. this will be longer than the last time they were closed. i have a lot coming up, and i do not anticipate a large amount of free time, so i'm going to use what i have to rest.

i have one more request i'm waiting to hear back from a follow up ask about, and that one will be completed, but any new requests will not be filled.
