CASI - Golden Age Thinking

A follow-up to her howling track “Lion”, Welsh songstress CASI exhibits her debut single’s B-side, “Golden Age Thinking”. Co-written and produced by Denmark’s Ronni Vindahl, the single moves in a more upbeat direction with the percolation of its dripping synths. Taking a more beat-driven approach than its predecessor “Lion”,“Golden Age Thinking” still retains the beauty of CASI’s icy vocal shiver but instead of thundering across gently surges through its waves of calm.

CASI - Lion (prod. Vindahl)

Hailing from Wales but based out of London, CASI sends out a roaring first track aptly-titled “Lion”. It’s a bursting, voluminous track and features production work from Ronni Vindahl, the Danish producer best known for his funky, hip-hop driven work with MØ and Kendrick Lamar who notably sampled his melodies from his alma-mater Boom Clap Bachelors on track “B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe”. A rather spacious and majestic track, CASI’s shuddering vocal shiver adds an expansive aura to Vindahl’s drum rolls and kicks.

ANYA - Break Up Battle

Instead of being blue, Copenhagen’s ANYA releases a video that instead stands out as being bold and animated. Titled “Break Up Battle”, the song is upbeat, revving-up with its bassline riffs and uplifting synths in a video ANYA dedicated to International Women’s Day earlier this month. Showcasing women as both strong, beautiful and not afraid to get their hands dirty, you can check out the “Break Up Battle”, which also features production by MØ’s Ronni Vindahl.
