and then big sister dies and the whole world shatters and he just kinda becomes a chaos gremlin made out of anger and his hero-worship crush becomes absolute hatred because he can’t direct his anger at himself or at his dead sister and i LOVE that. this kid is like nine and the world just collapsed under him and now he’s communing with the ghosts and his anger. and he’s still just an angry, scared elementary elementary schooler with a crush
