Why the Vindicator is my favorite Warhammer 40k tank.
Iron Snake Captain: “Polyphemus.”
Polyphemus: “Yes, sir?”
Iron Snake Captain: “Remove that heretic/xenos from my battlefield.”
Polyphemus: “Yes, sir!”
The fact that it can fire the cannon point blank if no allies are near it is funny as hell.
Polyphemus, the one-eyed monster of the Iron Snakes is complete!
Decided to try a slower approach, so this was done over the course of a few days, starting with the turret gunner, spare bullet, and the dozer before I did the tank itself.
Did some edge highlighting, used a little shaders for the gold skulls and aquila, and did my first try at actually writing on the little banner (will probably be the last cus that was frustrating). Even did a little rifling pattern inside the barrel.
All and all, I'm super pleased with how my first tank turned out. Will be doing his big brother Daedalus (Land Raider Crusader) in a couple weeks or so.
