Oates's Vine Snake
Oates's vine snakes (Thelotornis capensis oatesi) are highly venomous snakes native to southern Africa, and they are quite beautiful danger noodles. This vine snake was illustrated by R. Mintern for Frank Oates's Matabele Land and the Victoria Falls (1881).
