In honor of where it all began, I decided to draw my own version of all of the original Toa Canister art for each of the 6 original Toa

Lewa is an adventurous and fun loving, and joyful Toa who has a reckless daredevil nature because he has complete faith that the Toa will always succeed, though he grows to appreciate the perils they face and take situations seriously. At first Lewa was not interested in joining a team much like Tahu and Kopaka he originally preferred to work alone not out of a sense of stubbornness and pride but more because he just wanted to explore on his own and felt he could tackle any adversity on his own, though his impulsiveness tended to get him in danger and brainwashed one too many times...3 different times actually and one of those times was by the actual Bionicle equivalent of Cthulhu! 

Lewa would mature and learn from his mistakes but never completley loses his individualistic mindset. Unlike the rest of his team, Lewa has a tendency to speak in a form of slang called "Treespeak" that seems to be an exclusive trait of Le (Air) Toa and Matoran, where they would combine words like "Darkluck" to mean Unfortunate or "Leafdawn" to mean Springtime. 

Primary Mask: Miru (Mask of Levitation) His Mask makes him nearly weightless and allows him to leap exceptionally large distances or slow his falls.

Hardly the most original idea but I got this image in my head and I thought it looked cool :) This is done in the same style as my comic cover as well as my Abe poster and honestly, this is one of my favourite styles to work with because it always looks better than how I imagined it.

So remember how on m main blog I said I was going to do a painting every week? Well turns out that plan fell through. However, it only fell through because I got an opportunity coming up for me. In September my dad and I are going to be running a both at a small local convention. I’ll be printing up dozens of posters, both based on stuff I’ve already done but I also hope to do a few more designs over the summer. After the convention, I’m going to be selling the leftover posters online.
