🌟 …someone my muse trusts.
“Vince.” A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. “He might be a bit easy to rile and too fast to escalate fights, but he’s a good person. I don’t completely trust him, I don’t know if you can fully and wholly trust anyone, but I do trust that he won’t screw me over on purpose. And really, what more could you ask for?”
“I do genuinely like him. He’s…charming and endearing in that sort of way that reminds me of a puppy.” She pursed her lips thoughtfully. “Maybe that’s why I worry about him. I know he can take care of himself, but there have been a lot of people who could take care of themselves that still get eaten alive by this place. The wastes has a way of snuffing out the light in people or just…snuffing them out as a whole, and I don’t want to see that happen to him.
👀 …someone my muse likes, but doesn’t trust.
“Half the people in Goodneighbor. The other half I don’t trust or like. Ah but if I were to pick just one person? Magnolia. The singer. I admit I haven’t really spoken with her but she has an elegance about her that I’m sure everyone can appreciate. I’ve heard her speak with others and she seems like a lovely person, if that counts for anything.”
👪 …someone in my muse’s family.
“I know she isn’t actually my family by any real ties, but Delilah will always be family in my heart. I met her and her father when she was only six and she was just as much of a rambunctious troublemaker then as she is now. She’s been through so much, more than a child ever should, but she’s still so strong, still willing to approach the world without fear. She has a resilience that will never waver, never shatter, and you can see it in her eyes.
“I don’t think the Commonwealth will be able to handle her when she grows up.” She chuckled, shaking her head. “I can hardly handle her now. Oh, but I do love her. I’d raze it all to the ground for her.”
