Throwback Thursday: The back of this illustration, dated June 15, 1887, says that the printing was sponsored by Charles S. Withington's florist shop. Withington, a member of the Class of 1868, had popular local shop. This advertisement offered Princetonians roses for Commencement and other related celebrations. This illustration depicts Nassau Hall, the Fitzrandolph Observatory, Witherspoon Hall, Cannon Green, and what appears to be Clio Hall (but could also be Whig Hall).
