Blue boom bap
All tracks produced between 1993 and 1996. I used nothing more than an AKAI S-950 sampler with 1.5 MB of RAM, a little 8-channel mixer and some vinyl. Sequenzing was done by a Roland R8 drum machine. Additional arpeggio on the last track is played by a Korg Poly 61.
"Buy Records" The Buy Records video project shows a brief insight into the process of how vinyl is traditionally sampled in the production of Hip Hop.
