It had been years. Not as long as the last time she had dropped off of the earth, but still long enough to be cause for concern. Her kids knew she was alive, but most others didn’t. 

So she stood at his door, hesitating for longer than she was proud to admit before knocking and waiting for the door to open, a smile spreading across her lips.

“Hey darlin’.”

“I wouldn’ even have a career had I not died in the first place, darlin’. It’s a miracle I ain’t dead yet.”

There weren’t a lot of people that Viola could think of that would be good to call in a situation like this, but Ash was, at the very least, someone she trusted. So she had text, trying to play it off as two old friends getting together for coffee. Vi was careful to choose a place that he would know that Azazel might not. After all, she didn’t really like talking about her pre-hell life and he didn’t really seem to mind. 

“Ya can say no if ya wanna, I won’t hold it against ya, but I think I need some help.”

“Don’t...don’t touch me,” she whimpered, hating the way it felt to be overwhelmed with the memories attached to an item. The damn necklace had belonged to someone murdered, someone young, and she could still feel the way the blades had torn at the skin. It was left her raw, vulnerable, and completely without barrier to anything else that might be added on.

I need you to make sure Dante and Myra are safe and I don’t care if that means you gotta tell my ol’ man about them. I will never forgive you if anything happens to them.”
