If I had a nickel for every time I wanted to fuck a different representation of Santa Claus, I’d have three nickels, which seems like a lot, but-

Crack idea for a crossover,
But it's not Santa vs Krampus. They both just happen to be in the same neighborhood. They have a respectful relationship.
Ideas for subplots,
There's a Jewish family. Some of them are taken for being anti Christmas. Krampus doesn't care who you worship but you can't disrespect the holiday spirit when he's nearby. (Kinda like Sam from Trick 'r Treat)
One of the side characters hates Christmas, but Krampus leaves her alone. Turns out she's a survivor of a Christmas serial killer. Santa gives her survival gear presents, and Krampus gives her the killer's head.
One of Santa's bad guys tries to get Krampus to take him out. It goes poorly for them.
In the end, Mrs Klaus shows up to bring Santa home and takes Krampus with them. She's somehow the most terrifying person the cast meets that night and the sweetest.
