after arriving at the apartment from the insanely business afternoon, a slight smirk appeared on riley’s features while carrying a bag in that consisted of a frame she stopped to buy on the way home. “babe!” she announced while placing the object behind her back, wishing to surprise him once she found where is hiding in their rather small apartment. taking a look into the kitchen and the living room, a curious eyebrow raised when he didn’t seem to be anywhere in sight. how odd. “did you leave or something? where are you?”

      Nobody ever came around here. Not if they were smart. It was the typical, cliche bad side of town and Gabriel was the typical bad boy. So when he saw a beautiful girl walking down the dark ally he raised his brow a bit. He was a bit of a dick, he didn’t give a fuck about much but he was a damn saint compared to some of the guys around here. Guys who wouldn’t give a fuck what happened to that girl -- and what they would do to her. So he took it upon himself to get to her first. Call it his inner gentleman attempting to show himself. “Can I help you?” He sauntered up, dropping his burnt out cigarette on the ground next to him.
