It took twenty-three hours to get there and the pair had less than seven days to locate Jerome Elmore, a contact in charge of their distribution in Thailand before he went off-grid. Abel tossed his bag over his shoulder as he traversed the busy streets of Bangkok, he was en route a cheap hotel before meeting with a local who had last seen their mark. Elmore was currently in hiding after being found out that he’d been cutting deals with another group, last they heard, the man has bought himself an island. They just needed to know which one.

Knocking on the door opposite his room, Abel leaned against the door frame as he waited for Violet Costello to answer.

“Hey,“ he greeted before stepping inside her room. The heat was unbearable and the dingy room they were holed in with its rickety ceiling fan did not help. “I found Aran, he’ll be at Chaem Choi tonight.“ Abel pronounced the name of the night club carefully, almost certain that he’d butchered it somehow. Aran was one of Elmore’s lackeys and if anyone had an idea where to find the man, it’d be him.
