It has been a while since I last time just drew without any clear direction or idea. When I started making this drawing I had decided I would only use two colors and not do any redos, so all mistakes or such would just stay. The drawing ended up looking more and more like my OC Izanami, so in the end, I turned this artwork into my OC Izanami. It was quite fun to draw this~. ✨

The Colors of Crystals

One of the many reasons I love crystals - they come in every color imaginable! Everything in existence exists at a specific vibration, and colors describe varying wavelengths of light we can see. The color of a healing crystal also influences the emotions, chakras, and energies the crystal can heal.

Let’s break it down color by color!

Red crystals resonate with pure passion, a deep earthy vibration resonating with our earth star, root, and sacral chakras. They energize and activate energy, stimulating creativity and vitality. Use red crystals when you need a powerful boost or when your head is too high up in the clouds. -lighter shades of red are soothing, loving, and feminine. -darker shades of red are quiet, determined, and masculine.

Orange crystals are bursting with pure joy and radiance, bathing our sacral chakras with it’s empowering glow. Resonating with friendship, pleasure, and pure fulfillment; they activate and release energy - ringing with vitality and grounding creativity and projects into the physical world. Use an orange crystal to bust through creative block, warm your heart in the dead of winter, or to overcome grief and sorrow. -lighter shades of orange resonate with loyalty, new friends, and courage. -darker shades of orange resonate with belonging, hospitality, and community.

Shining with the color of sunshine and pure happiness, Yellow crystals work with the solar plexus chakra and mind - instilling clarity, uplifting dark thoughts, and balancing intellect. The happy vibes of yellow crystals work wonders for relieving seasonal depression and balancing our thoughts.

-lighter shades of yellow stimulate the mind and heighten alertness. -darker shades of yellow strengthen decisiveness and precise thought.

Ringing with the rejuvenating glow of the heart chakra, green crystals provide deep emotional healing and rehabilitation. Green is the color of fertility and renewal; resonating with the earth to help us progress and move forward in our lives. Use these crystals to bring new beginnings and abundance or to instill compassion and tranquility in oneself. -lighter shades of green overcome jealousy and strengthen character. -darker shades of green resonate with money, material comfort, and good fortune.

It’s the color of the expansive sky and sea, setting our thoughts and communication free. Resonating with the vibrations of our throat chakra, Blue crystals are calming and clarifying; bringing the mind into balance with intellect. They’re wonderful at grounding spiritual energy, as well as helping us become more honest and sincere with ourselves. Blue are helpful when you need to calm and focus the mind, or handle betrayal and insecurity. -lighter shades of blue indicate mildness, forgiveness, and recovery. -darker shades of blue gleam with honor, charity, and thoughtfulness.

Indigo - the color of the night sky and deep insight. Linking us to higher states of consciousness, indigo crystals awaken our innate spiritual abilities and stimulate higher perception. These crystals bring wisdom and resonate with the third eye chakra - helping us cut through illusion and see things clearly. -lighter shades of indigo bring appreciation, humility, and thankfulness. -darker shades of indigo bring spiritual mastery, guidance, and truth.

Purple - the color of the galaxies. Purple crystals encourage us to follow our dreams and reach for the stars. Resonating with our inner-knowing, it helps us find the magic in our everyday reality. These crystals strengthen and stimulate our crown chakra, also bringing balance and harmony to our personal connection to spirit. -lighter shades of purple stimulate imagination and luxury. -darker shades of purple bring insights, enchantment, and destiny.

Pink sings along in harmony with the heart chakra. It’s the color of love, relationships, and romance. Dissolving emotional blockages and mending together even the most broken of hearts, pink crystals remind us of love and all its forms. From the relationships we have in the world to the one we have with ourselves, pink crystals help us reconnect with the unconditional love that flows through all things. -lighter shades of pink opens one up to unconditional love. -darker shades of pink resonate with safety, security, and comfort.

Black technically isn’t a color as it’s the absence of all light. Nonetheless we see it every night painting the sky. Black is traditionally associated with the more negative aspects of human existence such as death, secrets, and the unknown. However it’s these very things that black crystals help protect against! A powerful barrier against all things low vibration and harmful, black crystals help to protect our energies and keep ourselves safe. Black resonates with the deep dark earth and all things physical, so use this color when grounding energies are necessary.

White is known to be the color of purity. The rays of the moon and the snow’s glare all reflect nature’s untouched majesty. White crystals bring illumination, hope, and healing to all endeavors they are worked with. Use white crystals to open up your awareness, transmute lower vibration energies, or to soothe the mind and heart.
