Violet loves any date that has to do with music. Going to a concert, hanging out somewhere and listening, even going to a CD store; she loves any and every opportunity to talk about music. If your music taste is the same that’s great! You can compare favorite songs and artists. If you’re not into the music she likes, it’s not a huge deal as long as you don’t bad mouth anything. She’ll want to take turns changing out CDs and making sure neither of you play favorites.
She’s not big into PDA but can be convinced to hold hands and lean on you in public. It’s not because she doesn’t care, she just prefers to fly under the radar and feels like being all touchy feely has people notice you more. If you’re in a more secluded spot, she might kiss you or play with your hands. The longer you’re together, the more comfortable she gets and PDA becomes more common.
The easiest way to make Violet upset is if you tease her about not paying attention or being flighty. She gets absorbed into her music, sure, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t care or she’s trying to purposefully ignore things. She appreciates it when you stand up for her and take the reigns in conversations; she can handle people interactions but would rather not most of the time.
Violet prefers dates at home, cooking together or just hanging out. She’s a bit of a home body as long as she feels safe in the space. She values you being a safe place for her and takes a while to start sharing her inner thoughts. Be patient with her and you’ll get to see a side of her most don’t know exists.
