a sharp breath was drawn deeply through her nostrils, her jaw tightly clenched. the sound of his somewhat deep yet undeniably masculine voice was far too familiar to her. god, the femme couldn’t have been more irritated that he had managed to track her down. as if the room wasn’t already crowded with a large number of people — yet somehow, he was standing right across from her. she quickly cleared her throat, one hand resting firmly on her hip while her chin lifted defiantly. “and what exactly do i want, since you seem to think you know me so well? if it’s not him, then who? go ahead — tell me what it is that i want ; i’m all ears.” she hissed through clenched teeth, struggling to suppress her unmistakable frustration with the taller homme.
