"Your grace" Violet greeted the young man with her usual smile, poised and polite. She had meant to call on them sooner but thought better of it given the honeymoon she had no doubt they had been enjoying, even now that they were back among the Ton. She brought with her a basket of goodies from her kitchen staff and was on a mission. "Is Penelope home-- I was recently made aware of some wrongs my children have done to her and I wish to convey an apology to her and you for any disrespect my family has shown."
It was Hyacinth who made her aware of what Colin had done, after a round of eavesdropping she came running, upset that that was one of the reasons Penelope no longer payed call to the house. That and her falling out with Eloise but that seemed to have mended itself and yet they never saw the Duchess anymore, something that saddened her as she often thought of her like one of her own.
