"Is somebody there? Show yourself!"
She smiled back at him. "I know the feeling, pretty much my mood today has been terrible."
"Yeah? That sucks. Anythin' I can do t'help?"
She shook her head. "It's too cold in the prison and why not join you?"
"You're a sweetheart." Daryl smiles. "I ain't so much good company tonight, though. Do my best if y'wanna hang out."
She shrugged. "It's your birthday now! Because you don't need to be up here alone and cold."
"Well ain't you kind." Daryl pulls a small smile. "S'real sweet of ya. But y'don't gotta worry, m'okay. I'll survive. You'll jus' get yourself cold out here."
"A surprise for ya!" She knelt down and opened the bag and pulled out a blanket and threw it over him. She smiled. "I also have hot chocolate."
"Well, m'surprised." Daryl twitches a smile, slowly grabbing the blanket to pull around himself. "An' hot chocolate? It ain't my birthday."
"Hey Daryl." Violet waved as she climbed up on the roof to join him. She smiled and walked over carrying a bag filled with unknown items.
"Hey." Daryl raises a hand in greeting from where he's sitting, curled up in a corner of the roof so he can stay out of the wind. "'chu got there?"
"Daryl...I need help.." Violet stumbled as she tried walking towards him. She collapsed to her knees hold her side.
"The fuck happened?" Daryl squats down to hold her up, looking over to assess any visible damage.
Violet still avoids looking at him and keeps her head down. "I just worry about you Daryl. We all do, even though no one wants to admit it. If you ever need anything, or someone to talk to you know where to find me."
Daryl blushes a little, instinctively shaking his head at the idea that people worried about him. He still found it hard to believe, no matter how many times his friends proved him wrong.
"Thanks, Vi." He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly, before shoving his boots on and standing up. "I'll get outta your way, shower's yours."
