hi everyone and happy tuesday ! i will be away from the main in a few hours as i unfortunately have to work today but i wanted to pop in for a bit of an interest check with this group and the way it currently is while throwing my feelers out for a possible alternative idea if this specific one doesn't gain traction which is the idea of a group indie style post apocalyptic rp . essentially , the main plot would serve as a main verse that everyone within the group can/should participate in while members can create their own verses for their characters outside of the main plot but is still within the permameters of post apocalyptic themes that others within the group can participate with them . they could have a pre-outbreak verse , one verse where their character is the hero but another where their character is a hardened survivor , a verse situated in the world of the last of us or twd or days gone or any other post apocalypse media , etc . i would love to come back from work with some feedback or even what rpers would like to see when it comes to the genre of horror / post apocalypse .

7,305 days gone .  twenty  years .  civilization  has  long  since  fallen .  communities  have  burned .  the  dead  keep  walking .  the  lone  survivors  always  believed  they  had  it  all  figured  out .  to  them ,  it  was  safer  being  alone  or  in  smaller  groups .  but  how  safe  can  you  really  be  when  every  decision  means  you  have  to  risk  something ?  the  next  person  you  trust  may  be  your  last .  the risk  taken  for  resources  may  leave  you  overrun .  they're  trying  to  e n d u r e .  they're  trying  to  survive , so  that  ,  at  least ,  when  the  next  day  goes  by ,  they  can  be  alive  to  see  it .

daysgonefm  is  an  appless  horror  /  post  apocalyptic  role-play  for  muns  and  muses  twenty-one  plus .  character  focused  and  plot  driven  through  events ,  plot  drops ,  and  writing  challenges  ⸻  muns  will  be  able  to  challenge  their  characters  as  they  attempt  to  survive  in  the  wild  where  around  every  corner  there's  something ,  or  someone ,  looking  to  make  the  next  day  their  last .a tentative open date is set for thursday august 13th .

heck yeah ! i would love to see morally grey characters . hell , i'd be happy to see some villains .

how easy would you say plotting with members is? i get nervous to join rps that have already opened

✕ ⸻ I completely understand that fear, but members have been absolutely wonderful with reaching out to others, putting up plotting calls, and responding to starters. From what I've seen, people have been very open to plotting with each other, and we have spaces in the Discord specifically for plotting and connections. You also don't need to arrive with twelve incredibly detailed relationships already figured out. Sometimes "hey, these two are stuck in the same hospital and I think they'd annoy each other" is more than enough to start. And if you ever feel like you're struggling to break in, please come to me! I am more than happy to help toss around ideas and get you connected.

Is the doc up to date?

✕ ⸻ It should be! I try to keep our document updated as applications and wanted connections come in. That being said, mama admin is unfortunately human, so if you ever notice something on the document that seems different or think I missed an update somewhere, please let me know! I would much rather someone poke me than stare at it, trying to figure out what is wonky.
