She knew she was naive, very naive, but she was not dimwitted and it was obvious the drunken lord in front of her viewed her as such. Sighing, she looked around for any sort of relief, finding a passing lord and gently grabbing their shirt sleeve, offering them a pleading look.

Why did this tourney feel like it had gone on for weeks? To say the Lannister, soon to be Stark, was bored was an understatement. Normally she'd listen to gossip or try to make connections but everyone she had intended to meet she had somehow met already and how she sat, twiddling with a child's toy, in hopes of entertaining herself. "I wonder when the jousting will actually start - I never thought I'd live to see a day where I look forward to violence yet here we are"

And here was another money hungry noble clambering to her to talk about some sort of business. Had he no shame? Sure she had once been in the position to talk about such things but with no longer being in the running for head of her house, she was tired of the unneeded pressures put upon her. Eyeing a figure walking past, she decided to take them as an excuse to leave. "There you are," she called out, eyes widening ever so slightly to get her point across - 'get me out of here', "we need to talk about what we last spoke of, no?"

Melike was one of the sweetest people one could ever meet but the only disadvantage to her? She had extremely best resting bitch face. And maybe that's why people strayed from coming near her or maybe she just wasn't personable enough but right now seemed to be one of those moments. Looking into a mirror next to her, her eyes widened slightly, "seven hells, I need to work on my face" she whispered

It had only been 8 months but she felt she had drastically changed in that short amount of time. She may have still had issues with her confidence and self worth but she felt that she had grown to like herself just a bit more than she had originally. Yet, there was a looming sense of anxiety at the thought of seeing any of her siblings besides Rosalyn. She had briefly seen Loras when she had gone to Highgarden for a bit but that was the extent of their interaction

So when she saw Loras, the twinge of her heart racing slightly was evident but she kept her head held tall. Even if she wasn't confident she was going to act it. "Brother," she said with a curtsy, "it's been quite awhile since we last saw one another"

He had seen Jasper a handful of times in the past 8 months, but Jayse never enjoyed sitting still - he was always on the go but made sure to keep in touch with each other his siblings. Constant letters were sent along with little knick-knacks he had picked up along the way. "Brother!" he practically beamed as he pulled Jasper in for a hug, "it's been too long, Jasper, how have you been faring?"
