But Violetsche was pretty tsundere to Pinky somehow?? He never fell for her advances and even threatened her at times, how did he fall for her? And how did this ship work?? XD Also, I love that one episode where she sat on his lap ;))

According to what I still remember (it’s been a loooong time since I last (re)watched this anime), I think Violetche always had a thing for Lady Pinky. I think that it didn’t show at first because he was more busy being anOhboss-senpai zealot.

A part that always struck me is when he purposefully wonders aloud what kind of punishment would be the worst for Lady Pinky. She says that she’d rather be anything but a child, which later turns out to be a blatant lie.

Violetche didn’t even question it. This part started to make me pay more attention at the way they interact (or better: the way he interacts with Pinky).

I mean, he’s canonically described as a ruthless tactician, and even along the series he’s shown to have quite an analytical mind and often ponders things twice/investigates on his own before proceeding (tactician, duh! XD)

Even so, when Pinky says that the worse punishment she could ever receive would be to be turned into a child... He just goes with it.

The ruthless tactician doesn’t even stop for a second to ponder why Pinky would openly admit what kind of exact punishment would be the worse. Nobody would ever admit that, just so that the perperator (in this case, Violetche himself) could really proceed with that. And yet, she said so.

In that moment, Violetche is indeed seen pondering for a moment, before proceeding to turn her into a child. Probably he knows that Ohboss would’ve later wanted a report on Pinky’s punishment, so he made it look more realistic (taking away her ability to shapeshift, so that she can’t revert from the current form).

I think that, in that moment, Violetche was well aware that Pinky had lied about what could be the worst punishment, and he just went with her “accidental” suggestion as a way to protect her from a real and more serious punishment.

In this latter case, despite that had been a direct punishment from Ohboss, Violetche offers to put a good word on her behalf with him. That’s also where the ship started to sail itself.

“But don’t worry.” Gold Arm added. “No matter how long it may take you to write some new and nice poetry, your writings will always be welcome.”

“I couldn’t agree more.” Violetche nodded.

“Brave Fighter of Legend, Da-Garn”, one of the anime from the Japanese “Brave series” from the 90s.

“My, my... I really wonder what do you wish to accomplish by doing so...” VIoletche hummed, overall amused by the attempt of the human.

"Yo Violetche, I've got a question for you," Windy called as he approached the catman.

Sat on the sofa, Violetche rose his look from the newspaper he’d been reading, eyeing the approaching Soccer Leaguer.

“Oh, Mach Windy. It’s been quite a while.” He hummed politely as he folded neatly the newspaper. “Ask away and I will see if I got the answer you’re looking for.” The catman then added gently.

"Rumour has it that Violetche sounds like a strangled cat, when he falls of from high places."

“I do not! Who even started such rumour?”

The catman replied. Behind his back there might or might not be seen a Reploid-Leaguer pair silently laughing up their sleeves and mimicking a camera.

The message was quite clear: they got “visual proofs” of “such rumour”.

"I Dare You To Kiss a Frog, Violetche," Windy grinned cheekily, the Soccer Leaguer feeling rather mischievous (some would call childish and Windy would disagree with that vehemently).

“And where am I supposed to find a frog in this area..?” Violetche cocked an eyebrow.

“I found one, actually. With all this humidity in the air, they popped up like daisies in spring.” Spider said, carrying a small-to-medium glass jar, closed with a metal cap, like one of those jars for jam or honey, just without the sticker around it.

Said jar was filled with some water, just enough to leave room for the small “host” to try and climb on the glass.

Violetche took the jar from the hands of the bounty hunter, studying the small frog briefly. Then he smiled faintly.

“Ah, it seems to me that you’ve got a nice representative of European tree frogs.“ The catman hummed, opening the jar and carefully sticking two fingers in, waiting.

The tiny frog hopped in his middle finger a couple of minutes later, and Violetche withdrew his hand as carefully as he did earlier, under the look of the waiting pitcher and Reploid.

After all, the catman had a dare to fulfill, moreover a dare which he couldn’t refuse. Well, at least this little frog didn’t look as disgusting as some huge toads he’d seen a few times.

Violetche acted swiftly, yet with the usual caution, not wanting to hurt the frog but at the same time wanting it to be done as soon as possible, also so that he could put the frog back in the jar and send Spider back out to release it in the wild where it belonged.

Under the look of the presents, the catman gave a quick peck on the back of the small frog, before putting it back in the jar and waiting for it to climb/jump off his finger.

All while giving a small smirk to the others.

“Heh… You thought that I would never, ever do something like that, didn’t you?” He said, grabbing a disinfectant wipe as soon as the frog had been enclosed inside the jar.
