Thank you!! This is quite simple, it only takes a lot of patience. I’m not the best at explaing things, but I’m gonna try lol.

The most important thing to achieve what I did in this post is choosing a scene where there’s not a lot a movement, and the background sould be clean, like this: 

This scene is a god send because he’s the focus on the frame and his hair doesn’t have a lot of detail, so the we have no problem selecting the pixels.

Anyway, after selecting my scene and deleting the frames I’m not going to use, I ended up with 18 frames. I recommend something between 15-20 frames. So, open the quick selection tool:

Make sure you have selected the first frame and layer (the one with the little eye). After selecting your character click on refine edge and play around with the settings until you’re happy. Here’s mine:

You have to do this for every frame. But remember to make sure you select the layer corresponding to the frame, and only make it visible for such. For example, layer 2 is only visible for frame 2. You’re going to have something like this:

After you finished all of it, you can go on making your gif, select all the frames and set the frame delay, then convert to video timeline. (I like to convert the layers in smart object, too). Then you can crop it, resize, sharpen it and add your psd! 

For the background I open a new fill layer with a solid color and put it below all the other layers.

Omg ikr??? Yes someone who understands. Usually I sit down to write with my earbuds in with a general idea of what I want to write about. And then it never fails like someone calls me for something or someone just starts talking to me never mind that I have earbuds in for that exact reason.

I was able to sit down and write a l little something based on the episodes I saw and what little idea that I had and it was amazing.
