With the final text message sent, Kennedy threw on an oversized sweater and threw her hair up in a ponytail. The search around her room for  the hidden (mostly forgotten) bottles of alcohol - part wine, part liqueur, and part whatever foreign alcohol she couldn't decipher - didn’t take long before she left. It was still relatively late at night and the sounds of clinking bottles echoed in the apartment complex as she made her way to apartment 6D. Her knock was soft, unsure of who was awake enough to answer the door.
