Snapped out of her thoughts, the inventor blinked a couple of times before realizing that she had indeed accidentally been staring. “I apologize, I drifted off with my thoughts. I didn’t not mean to make you feel uncomfortable, I didn’t even realize I was staring at you.”

“Have you ever tried to escape? Do you think it’s possible if we work together?”

“Thass not possible-..” Vi spoke in a grim tone, furrowing her brow. The two had been held in confinement for several days, tied up in a dark room without any way to see who their captors might be. Most of the time the two would be in pure darkness, tied up against a wall. It was simply maddening. “Who do ya think s’out tharr?”
