It is honestly the best A/B/O fic I've ever read ✨ I really admireyour consistency; as someone who used to write but always lost interest and never ended up finishing a fic, seeing your dedication is amazing. 🙌 You are so talented omg
I also love how Y/N isn't blindly submissive to their attitudes. Too many A/B/O fics rely on that trope, so finding a story where the protagonist actually has a brain and self-respect is incredibly refreshing! Keep up the amazing work! ❤️
Thank you for enjoying Jaded & Imperfect. I think the biggest reason I've been so consistent is a mix of my love for the characters and self indulgence LOL.
Some ppl have not so nice remarks about reader-insert fics but I think it's because the genre is notorious for being sloppy/poorly written. We've all been in that place where a badly written fic just hits the spot, but I think well written reader insert fics can be kind of healing, too. I know I've definitely felt that way when reading some before, which is why I decided to write this one. Y/N is a self-insert, but she's also someone with a distinct personality in this fic. Through her wins and her mistakes, I hope people can feel like they're gaining something like a different perspective or healing or even just happiness through her. I've been writing Y/N fics for a few years now, so that's the perspective I've gained. It's probably not that deep to others, and I know there are many armys that think Y/N fanfic is inherently gross/cringe. But it's something I spend a lot of my time and energy on and it makes me happy, so I have a unique love for it.
Although, I will admit it is my pet peeve when Y/N characters are overly submissive or if they're bratty for no reason. Of course, if you're just reading something quick for smut, it's fine. But I like reading longer fics with good characterizations so that kind of Y/N isn't really my style.
