If I'm lucky (i.e. in Italy) - a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant

oooh. Hmmmmm. Depends on my mood, really, but I always enjoy Sarah Dunant, Ovid, Iain Pearce and Susannah Clarke!

You know what else is great about all the John Green bullshit that gets spread on tumblr? He actually suffers from mental illness, but somehow people never take that into account because it might mean that they would actually have to consider him as a human being. Legitimate criticisms are fine (and necessary) but I'm so sick of posts that do nothing but spread hate and misinformation

Yes exactly! I’m fine with legitimate criticisms - I don’t love everything about him as a person or his books. But people will nitpick the smallest stuff. I can see how the quote they picked would be concerning if it came from his mouth (slightly altered to make sense in that context) but within a book it’s not that big a deal. and they even tried to use the fact that he has mental illness to be like “he should be more sensitive” like, come on, really?

1. Do you prefer writing with blue or black pen?  Black!  I am a rabid fan of Precise V5 RT Pilot Pens.  It is my one writing splurge.

7. If you could be a mythical creature, which would you choose?  While it’s not as bad-ass as a dragon, I would love to be a phoenix.  My favorite mythical creature they are not only the emblem of hope and rebirth, they can heal people with their tears.  Beautiful fire bird, here I come!

 15. Which element best represents you?  Water.  Not only do I love swimming, I’m very adaptable and forgiving with the tendancy to go with the flow.  It takes a lot to get me boiling.

33. What is your favourite scent?  This is really embarassing, but I love the way my boyfriend smells.  I’m currently trying to steal one of his hoodies so I can keep that scent for myself *evil laugh*

44. If you could travel back to any era, which would you choose?  Not that I’d like to live there, but I would LOVE to go back to the Elizabethan era and see some of Shakespeare’s performances at the Globe or Blackbriar, plague, pox and all.
