Hey, so last October I posted a scene in response to prince!Clint, and then it kind of took off, and now it is seven months and 23,000 words later and I have a draft, and it'll probably be posted by the end of the month, and this thing has been so much fun to write, so thank you for the inspiration <3

(This is @violsva not bothering to log in) What are the most popular poly ships on AO3? I can't seem to find this with AO3's own interface. Have you or someone else done a study?

No studies of exactly this exist, so far that I know of. But I started some scripts running and I'll let you know! :)

The Sirens Sang of Murder by Sarah Caudwell is written and set in 1989; if rereads are allowed, Madame C-’s Miss V- K- and Sebastian K- are twins.

Oooh, I remember adoring Caudwell when I was a wee teen, and also having no idea when or where any of it was supposed to take place because the Gorey cover illustrations made me think it was much older than it really was! 1989 is my birth year exactly; I’ll re-read that one and see if it makes more sense when I know it’s happening in the late 80s :)

Madame C is a great rec, too -- I’d forgotten they were twins! And I’m actually not sure that I ever finished the last volume...

Note: I suspect this is a fragment from the same story as Grass and Silence, which I WILL write properly one of these days. (That and "A Change of Season" are the two big Narnia fics on my to-do list... next year.)
