What to Wear for a Casual Day
Winter time, particularly anytime after Christmas through Feb/March, is the best time (IMO) to shop for clothes. You can find so many cute items at a big discount. I saw this top by Mango and had to snatch it up. They no longer sell this piece unfortunately but I’ve linked a page down below for very cute alternatives!
This winter has been pretty mild here in northern California - I can even get away with not wearing a coat on some days. This ensemble was perfect for such weather: a cozy teddy bear (faux shearling) top by Mango and an old pair of torn, high-waisted, relaxed straight-leg, cropped jeans by H&M which you’ve seen before on my blog.
The top is so soft and would also look great styled with off-white bottoms such as the pair shown in my previous post or with a faux leather pant or skirt. It’s interesting how I came across a few tops like this at other stores but their version of brown was just a bit...not quite right, lol. I’m glad I didn’t settle and came across this one in the end. I know teddy bear jackets are super cute but I have a North Face jacket that’s kind of similar so I felt a top would be perfect for my wardrobe.
So what is everyone up to this weekend? As for me, I’m going to give the new BTS album (it ‘dropped’ today) a listen as I get ready for bed. TGIF!
