I believe that myth of the machine is a ridiculously rare gem that was tragically handed over to chronic Tumblr users who hate women, dehumanize disabled people and baby gay men
Myth of the machine’s biggest problem is that it was written to be a niche comic blog aimed at weird analytical queers with actual media literacy and it accidentally blew tf up and hit the mainstream and a bunch of people who have never had a second thought about anything got into it
Why is everybody in the myth community acting like mpreg is such a big deal?? Like you guys do realize that male pregnancy is a thing that happens in real life and that is perfectly normal?
It’s really worrying how taboo people act about this or just pregnancy in general as if it’s such a lewd fictional concept and not the reason why we are here in the first place
Like yes, people get pregnant, women men non-binary and all of its umbrella term
My nose is stuffy and my throat is dry
Shout out and happy pride month to all those other folks like me who the pressure of having labels or identifying exclusively with one specific term has brought them more distress and a bigger identity crisis than just not caring about it and just rolling with whatever comes your way that doesn’t make you feel bad
FYI: This post isn’t made with the intention to demonize labels and queer identities, more so an understanding and comforting for unlabeled people just like myself who might’ve had the same struggles with identity and felt much more free and safe without forcing themselves onto conforming to this specific and isolated side of queerness
