OKAAAAAAAY FIIIIIIIIIINE the tldr was we were talking about kanae being honest in her final moments and telling shinobu that she wouldnt be strong enough to get revenge. she asks her to stop slaying demons and to live a normal life, settle down, etc. 

this discourages shinobu like CRAZY because kanaes opinion is the most important to her and she eventually decides to try and live a normal life since that was her sisters last wish. time passes, she finds a husband (she doesnt really love him but hes kind and capable) and they have a baby and thats where i was like ^_^ !!! because i hc shes always wanted to have children and she would be SO CUTE AS A MOM

but then it goes downhill because we were talking about how one day shinobu comes home and her husband & child have been slaughtered by, you guessed it, a demon. cue mama shinobu picking up her old sword and now shes out for BLOOD

it was thanks to Tanjiro that Giyuu was able to learn of Shinazugawa - san’s tastes for ohagi ,  but he had to start working his own progress in creating good relationships with the other Pillars .   they’ve all been caring enough to remain neutral on their judgements of him whilst he spiraled through his emotions & now is the time to repay their favour  —  by properly being able to gain it .   if Shinazugawa - san can be happy by a peace offering then maybe some of the other Pillars can be won over in the same strategy ?
