3. How do they position themselves in a group? Do they like to be the center of attention, or do they hang back at the edges of a crowd?
Armand has always been an observer before needing to be center of attention ( although, privately, that’s a whole different ball park ). However, Armand also has an uncanny ability to draw attention to himself or, rather, others love to look to him for guidance or as a leader though he may deny the role every time. Perhaps it’s his age, his power, or even something as superficial as his ethereal beauty. But Armand generally does not strive to be the center of attention, it usually just happens to fall upon him.
15. What kind of inner life do they have — rich and imaginative? Calculating and practical? Full of doubts and fears? Does it find any sort of outlet in their lives?
This answer can really depend on which period of Armand’s life you’re falling upon. But from the beginning for sure Armand has had a creative, curious, and soulful inner life. His beginnings started with his faith: in god, in the paining of the christ, in his maker, and in being saved, and finally in finding meaning and beauty all around him. he’s frequently referred to as an eternal student, even attaching to the words of his Maker: ‘the human heart is my school’ . I think these traits really define him as character no matter how deep the depths he’s fallen into his own mind to repress himself, or how high the heights he’s gone out of his mind to discover some truth. truly, he represents a certain soul of the italian renaissance in which were his most beloved mortal years.
