most things are the same, but we’ve updated the rules to regard banned plots (1b), starter calls (1c), number of muses allowed in the rp (3a), and have also proofread sections (without changing its essence) for clarity. please read them through, and send in any questions ! if you like this post we will assume that you have already read them through carefully !!
but quickly, regarding the change about the number of muses. we will no longer be accepting third muses ( meaning that if you have three currently, no worries ! but if you ever decide to drop one, you will not be able to pick them back up again until we change our policy, and muns with two muses now cannot pick up a third. )
regarding rule 1c, we may be occasionally checking to see that you follow this rule and following up if you break it, so make sure that you read it thoroughly.
application.
we’ve gotten rid of the rumor section on the application. we still expect your muse to have at least one rumor given the premise of the rp, but most of your muses have more, and considering how some of y’all have already revealed your muse’s original rumor and have moved on to other plots, we thought this seemed fitting. it also makes things easier for us, as we don’t have to continually screen rumors from our applicants, and new applicants who might struggle to find a suitable, “original” rumor.
we’ve changed the “LENGTH OF TIME” option to “MONTH of YEAR” because we’ve been running for 4 months and some of y’alls are outdated. our app didn’t age well, but now it will. please send the main the updated info so we can update the lineup with the new format ( we’ll need the date they’ve started releasing music + the date they’ve started to get recognition by vg ) if you do this for us without us having to dm you, you’ll be rewarded 7 points. offer expired !!

the form should be self-explanatory, but basically let us know what your muse is up to, or what they’re planning to do for THIS EVENT ONLY.
we want this to be CONNECTIONS/INTERACTIONS focused, since it’s harder to keep track of a quickly moving dash than our #viral:gossip tag. (not that we’re complaining about the dash’s pace!! you guys are amazing, and we love you.)
make sure to mention only the muses you have interactions going on with or plan to have interactions with for the event’s duration. feel free to give us a lil backstory if you feel necessary, but only if you feel that it’s relevant. if you want to throw in that your muse is actively AVOIDING someone, that works too! but if you have future plots with muses who haven’t met with that will come to fruition after the event, or those childhood connections, we don’t really want to hear about those unless they’re meeting tonight, if that makes sense.
each muse that you mention on the form (excluding your own muse) will be redeemable for FIVE POINTS. this is the only time we’ll let you know personally how much points you’ve received.
since we dropped this points drop on you (wow so eloquent) we’re NOT going to make this mandatory, but! if you want your muse to be mentioned in the asks we receive, you might as well whip up a form and send it in.
try to get the forms in as promptly as you can, so that we can answer questions as promptly as we can. if you get more plots/would like include something new you can just send it in later but to try and get the forms in as soon as you can! our submit will CLOSE the same time our event ends aka WEDNESDAY NIGHT/THURSDAY @ 12AM!

hello, all ! after heavy deliberation , the admins have decided to put viralhq on an indefinite hiatus. we're immensely grateful for all the friendships and plots we've created during the duration of the rp, and we thank all of our past and present members and everyone who supported/helped promote our group in the past. we're honored to have written with all of you, and hopefully this won't be the last time we write together. who knows, maybe we will come back in the distant future. we'll reopen our discord server so that you can all stay in touch with each other if need be, and be checking the main for the next few days in case anyone else wanted to get a last minute invite to it. thank you all for the past four ( almost five!! ) months, and all of your love and support. the best of luck in all of your future rp endeavors !!
