I feel the urge to point out that technology called torrenting is perfectly legal. Copyright infringement is illegal. You can use torrents to get all kinds of legal things, like Linux distributions and public domain software or books. Torrents are just a system of distributed downloading that can make it faster to download because you get the data from multiple sources at once. It's only when that tool is used for illegal purposes that it is a problem.

How do you manage to keep your true feelings about certain students to yourself, and not let it color your interactions with those students?
I have been teaching for over 50 years and that has taught me how to keep my feelings about the students from interfering in their education. In all honesty, I never had trouble with it until Harry Potter's six years.
