last thing i wanna say about this gillian discourse: of course it’s not cool to unconditionally support anything a celebrity does. but it’s also not cool to go on and personally attack fans who are trying to actually understand what’s goin on, are trying to educate themselves on it, but are having a hard time understanding it because everyone’s being so vague. yeah sex workers don’t owe us an explanation, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to harass someone (who has actually seen the movie and educated themselves on the topic) for voicing their opinion. why can’t we have a peaceful conversation about this
