Actually guys I’m in charge of stranger things canon now and I’m here to tell you Robin and Vickie stay together. They go on the Enzo’s date and have a wonderful time. The reason Robin said overbearing partners is because Vickie loves her gf and is mortified she has been fighting monsters so she goes out of her way to make sure Robin takes the necessary precautions. Also they’re both dating Nancy. They all have 2 hands and they’re holding them and skipping in circles.

Also everyone lives. Except for Vecna and papa they are still dead.

no bc the potential of robin dating vickie AND nancy is so good. nancy gets to have a platonic relationship with a girl for the first time since barb. vickie gets a girlfriend AND a new friend. robin not having to choose between the two girls she likes.

also, like, nancy and vickie hanging out together whenever robin’s hanging out with steve. because let’s face it, robin and steve are joined at the hip. nancy and vickie joking that they’re both third-wheeling steve and robin and that nobody would guess that they’re the ones dating her.

vickie being a welcome breath of fresh air for both nancy and robin. bringing that sense of normality neither of them have had in years. nancy and vickie having girls days and comparing date ideas for robin and having coloured coordinating schedules… bonding over being oldest siblings with d&d loving brothers… (i hc that gareth is vickie’s half-brother).

nancy being there to calm robin’s nightmares when vickie doesn’t know how to help, and robin being there for nancy’s nightmares, and the three of them huddling up in bed together. four of them, a lot of the time, because what helps robin’s nightmares best is steve’s presence, so often they end up in a puppy pile together.

nancy and vickie sharing ex-boyfriend stories and teasing robin together until she complains they’re ganging up on her… nancy can’t cook to save her life and vickie can’t bake to save her life so they sit in the living room drinking wine together while robin cooks for them both and robin is so impossibly fond of both of them…
